Protocol of a jetlag
How to explain a 11-months old the concept of time-zones. Exactly. You don’t. So here a little protocol of being 10 hours ahead of time. The usual sleep-rythm is sleeping 10 hours straight in a row between 7pm and 6am the following day.
Day 1: Slept the night sleep in the plane. Arriving around 10pm local time. Went to bed around 11:45pm. Woke up 1:30am. Awake until 4:30am.
Day2: Slept until 2 pm. Two naps of 30 min. during the day. Went to bed at 9:30pm.
Day3: Woke up without going back to sleep at 1:30am. Fell asleep at 5:20am. Slept until 11:50am. Then a 1 1⁄2 hour nap during the day. Fell asleep at 22:45pm.
Day4: Woke up at 2:20 am - not really awake the whole time Fell back to sleep at 3:45am Slept until 10am Two naps during the day 1:30h and 20min. Fell asleep at 9:30pm
Day5: Woke up at 12:20am. Really angrily awake during 3 1⁄2 hours. Started the day at 1pm. Had two naps of 30 min.
Day 6: Slept at 12:30am until 11am!!! One nap of 2 hours. Fell asleep at 11:20 pm. Slept until 7:30 am.
Now, after a really tough week for all of us, it seems, that she’s getting back to normal :) we’ve put her now every night a bit earlier to sleep, and that works out fine. Soon we’ll be really back to her normal sleeping rythm :)
